Republican Party of Nassau County Florida
Cheryl Billings, Chairman

Chairman's Message

My Fellow Nassau Republicans,

Thank you for your dedication and support to the Party!!

2016 has its challenges ahead of us and it is important that we come together to be ready to support our Party. We will be looking for volunteers to work our phone banks, walk our precincts, and improve our communication channels.

I am proud of our many accomplishments during 2015 including our Lincoln Day Dinner with our Lt. Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera. Our successes were not possible without your commitment and support. I hope that I can continue to count on your support in the year to come as we work to put Nassau County even more clearly in the conservative column.

We have been working on improving our technology and continue to look for volunteers to help with the process. It is imperative to keep a positive focus on issues as we provide leadership and education. I believe our core values and promoting conservative issues of fiscal responsibility, limited government and lower taxes is the winning model.

Our battle cry is simple and you have heard it before: LET'S GET TO WORK!!!

Thank you, God Bless You, and God Bless America

Cherie Billings, Chairman, Republican Party of Nassau County

What is the REC?

The Republican Executive Committee (also known as the REC) is the governing body of the Republican Party of Nassau County.  Members (precinct committeemen and women) of the Republican Executive Committee represent the registered voters who live in their precincts. The number of Republican precinct committeemen and women depends on the number of voters in the precinct.

The Republican Executive Committee is the component of the Republican Party of Nassau County that elects the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer of the Party. Members of the REC (the Republican precinct committeemen and committeewomen) also approve the Party’s constitution, rules, policies & procedures, and budget.

The REC also plays an important role in the grassroots effort of the Party and the overall team effort to get Republicans elected in Nassau County. If you are interested in becoming a member of the Republican Executive Committee, please contact one of our officers.
